چکیده

In the present study, we report synthesis and catalytic activity of tungsten- molybdenum-promoted mesoporous metal oxides in aminolysis epoxides. The as-synthesized catalysts were fully characterized by a variety techniques such as transmission electron microscopy (TEM), scanning (SEM), temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) desorption (TPD), nitrogen sorption measurements, powder X-ray diffraction (p-XRD), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Amongst two supports utilized, ZrO2 is better support compared to SiO2. Furthermore, MoO3 proved be dopant its counterpart. Several parameters variation solvents, substrates, catalyst amounts, stirring speed investigated. It was observed that 450 rpm optimum speed, with toluene best solvent styrene oxide substrate. Moreover, afforded 98% conversion 95% selectivity towards 2-phenyl-2-(phenylamino) ethanol 5% 1-phenyl-2-(phenylamino) ethanol. 5%MoO3-ZrO2 demonstrated optimal performance it exhibited excellent well great stability after being recycled 6 times.

Physico-Chemical and Catalytic Properties of Mesoporous CuO-ZrO2 Catalysts

Mesoporous CuO-ZrO2 catalysts were prepared and calcined at 500 ̋C. The performance of the synthesized catalysts for benzylation of benzene using benzyl chloride was studied. The bare support (macroporous ZrO2) offered 45% benzyl chloride conversion after reaction time of 10 h at 75 ̋C. Significant increase in benzyl chloride conversion (98%) was observed after CuO loading (10 wt. %) on porous ...

Catalytic decomposition of CF4 over copper promoted mesoporous catalysts

A series of mesoporous catalysts (MCM-41) promoted by copper oxide nanoparticles were prepared by the co-precipitation method and tested for the decomposition of carbon tetrafluoride (CF4). The addition of copper oxide nanoparticles to MCM-41 led to an improvement in the catalytic activity for CF4 decomposition. The catalyst was the most active around 5 wt% copper oxide added to MCM-41. Methods...

B-podands as efficient catalysts for the ring opening of epoxides in water: A versatile and atom economical method for the synthesis of vicinal azidoalcohols

For the first time B-podands have been studied as an efficient and powerful catalysts in the ring opening of epoxides with azide anion in water. The reaction afforded the corresponding 1,2-azidoalcohols with high regioselectivity under mild reaction conditions and in a highly atom economic fashion.
